Oktoberfest -Munich
Lets just say that the 4 days we spent in Munich were very messy but very funny!!
Well the boys had started drinking by the time we got to Heathrow airport and it was free alcohol on the plane too. When we arrived in Munich airport we realised that our luggage and Sammy B luggage wasnt there. We didnt know where it was but we were not happy. So we organise it to be delivered to our campsite asap. Yep thats right we stay in tents at a campsite cos thats all we could get, everything was booked. So having no luggage meant we had no sleeping bags so i was a bit cold that first nite with nothing but the others didnt notice cos they were too drunk. Our luggage turned up the next morning but really we could of gone without it cos none of us showered or changed clothes for the 4 days (except for the essentials).
We didnt see any sights of Munich just sights on the insides of the beer tents. The beers are 1 litre Steins and are very heavy but its all part of the experience of being in Germany. Makes our stubbies of beer look like nothing. Germans are into some serious drinking! and the women who bring you the beers can carry like 10 at a time very impressive i could hardly lift one.
Sam, Rj, Sammy B and Jimma drank almost constantly while there (except when they had passed out) so i had to fill them in on what happened during the day/nite and did they do some funny things. There was some nudy runs, some bare bums, lots of falls some arrests and handcuffs just what you would expect while in oktoberfest.
Well there not really much more to say about this trip except that it was a very funny experience/holiday to take.

Pisa and Florence
Hi, we have just got back from a weekend away to Pisa and Florence in Italy. It was so hot over the weekend, it was 42 degrees everyday and i was lovin the heat. We remember to pack on lots of sunscreen and drink lots of water so we were ok but did get a bit burnt.
We spent the first day in Pisa checking out the Leaning Tower and the street markets. The Tower was amazing. We had to wait 3 hours for it to be our turn to climb the tower so we check the markets out. There was so many markets and so many people trying to selling you watches, belts and sunnies.
While we waited we sat next to the tower in the shade and relaxed. Sam feel asleep and i just sunbaked and took in the atmosphere. It was so beautiful.
It was finally our turn to go up i was so excited. When walking up the bit on the lean everyone started going all wobbly it was the wierdest feeling but fun at the same time, i was all over the place and the steps were really slippery too. We got half way up took some photos and then kept going up to the top. We got to what we thought was the top but then there was a little more so we went up. It was so amazing up there you could see so much. It was such a nice day to go up there.
After that we headed off onto the bus and went to Florence. When we got to the station we went to our hotel which was only 100 meters away and check in, then went off to dinner.
Typical italian food i had. I had some gnocci, it was lovely. During the trip we tried the ice creams, pastas and pizza's. For the country where pizza was orginated it wasnt up to my standards. The have the thinnest crust and put all the toppings in the middle of the pizza the dont spread it around. Makes it a bit boring but it was one of the things i had to eat while in Italy. I can say that their Ice Cream is delicious!!!
While in Florence we decided to take the tour bus around because it was way to hot plus it would take us everywhere and places we wouldnt of been able to walk to. You could get on and off the buses through out the 24hrs and the buses run every 20mins. We did both Line A and B cos the went to different places around Florence. We didnt get a chance to go check any of the museums or Duomo out because it was saturday and the lines were massive and i didnt want to wait in a line in that kind of heat.
After the bus tours we checked out the markets. They love their leather, its everywhere. Some of the people in the markets are so talented. I got this made to sew my name on a towel set and he did it in like 2 mins. Of course the towels were pink, It was amazing how good he was. The markets were such an experience to walk through and so interesting.
So much better than french people they are all so friendly there and most of them speak english very well which was very helpful.
I had a wonderful couple of days in Pisa and Florence.

Monday 3rd april
A shocking thing has happened that we never even thought would ever happen to us, our flat was broken into and they had stolen my laptop, lauras camera, her gold locket and her gym bag. No one even noticed that anything was different until i asked where my laptop was. I thought they were playing with me but nope it had gone. All of our photos gone just like that, i didnt care much about the laptop itself it was what was on my laptop that meant more to me. We had the cops over and then a lady who dusted for finger prints and also took ours. I still cant believe it happened its like a bad dream. The person even searched through all our draws which is rather disturbing. We believe that it was someone with a key cos there was no sign of a break in. And it was a bit suss that after 2 months of me being home everyday all day that the 3rd day of me going to work it happened, so someone has been watching - well thats wat i think. We are all abit pissed off and freaked out but we cant do anything about it wats done is done. Today 4th april we have had all our locks changed and now we are going to lock all 3 locks when we leave. Well thats enough bad news for now hopefully next time i write something it will be something good bye now nys xxx

London Zoo - 19th March
We went to london zoo to check out the animals. Wasn't very fond on the reptiles and the huge spiders but the squirrel monkeys and the tiny turtles were so cute. I wanted to take a turtle home! The london zoo doesnt really compare to the Melbourne zoo its only half the size if that, but they did have alot of construction going on around the place. I wanted to see some monkey and gorillas but they didnt have any, it said they will be there at easter. Bit disappointing. We went into this area where the squirrel monkeys just play around you, we were like a foot away from them - so cute. Most all the animal are indoors even the hippos and giraffes so you can imagine the smell when you walk inthrough the doors - very stinky!!! and having the heaters on doesnt help either. well we had a good time anyway.

Snowboarding in Chamonix (france)
Well lets see it was one of the worst starts to a holiday i have ever had. It all started when we arrived at london gatwick airport to catch our flight to Geneva Switzerland to find out that we wouldnt be boarding for 1/2 hr later than we should have been.
Once we were on i thought thank god that wait is over but i was so wrong, we then had to sit on the plane for about another 2 hrs waiting for the plane to get a place on the runway to take off. (By the way we were flying with easyjet, cheap flights but very shitty everything else.)
We ended up arriving in Geneva at about 9pm when we should of been there at 6pm. Oh well were here now off to get our luggage. We waited there for our luggage Duncans, sams and lauras and mont's came out but dans wasnt out yet so we had to wait. (i didnt bother to put on any luggage i just took mine as hand luggage) So we waited for ages but nothing, waiting, waiting.......then that was it the baggage claim thingy had come to a stop!. We then spent the next 3 hrs in the airport trying to find out where his luggage had gone and if it even left london. No one could tell us anything. We had to talk to like 3 different people but they kept just sending us off to others. So he then had to fill out a lost baggage form so when it did arrive they would bring it to us.
You would of thought our trip from there would get better but it didnt. When filling out the lost baggage form you need to give them the address and name of the hotel where you are staying and the guy Mont who organised the accommadation, and for some stupid reason had pay over 590 pounds for it and not bothered to get the name or address of the hotel he had booked for us. Who is that stupid not to write down or ask the company he booked through for the name and address which he had just pay so much money for.
So from that we then had no where to stay that night because we couldnt contact anyone to find out the name and address of the place we were meant to be staying at because it was midnight on a saturday and they arent open on sundays either.
We also found out that we would of missed the bus to go up to Chamonix because of our plane being delayed, but that didnt matter anyway cos we didnt even know where we were staying. So for that sat nite we stayed at a hotel near the airport for 35 euros each. On sun morning we went back to the airport to see if they had found his bag but no luck. Sam and i were just about to rebook our flight to go back home because we have had enough of all the stuffing around. Still not being able to find our hotel on the mountain Mont booked another one for just sun nite til we could ring and find out our other on monday.
So we then bought bus tickets and went up the mountain. It was snowing that day and it look so nice, i loved playing in the snow its so pretty. So after our bus trip we arrived at our hotel which was only 23 euros a nite including breakky, dropped our luggage off and went out to have some lunch. Cheese fondue was the hightlight of that lunch was so tasty. After lunch we all went shopping to get prepared for our boarding for the next couple of days. We spent about 4 hrs walking around while everyone bought there stuff but it was good to see everything on the chamonix high street. Everything is so expensive on the mountain and you have to pay for it especially the food! otherwise youll have nothing, its like that at every mountain ive been too.
The next moring (Monday) we all got up early had breakfast and headed off to the mountain. We went to the Le Brevent mountain. We took the bus up there got off and were ready to have some fun on the mountain but then just as we thought our luck was changing we had to wait in a line for 2 hrs waiting to get our lift passes. There goes our morning. When adventually got up there Sam helped me with the basic and duncan helped laura. While the other 2 boys went off to the more advanced areas. We didnt see much of each other til we met up for lunch at the mountain restuarant which was so expensive but we were all starving. Sam looked after me for the whole day trying to help me as much as possible, i was doing quite well going down getting more confident but i just couldnt get off the ski lift without stacking or stacking into someone, which i dont think they appreciated being bowlled over.
When we had finished on the mountain we then found our hotel we had already paid for and moved all our stuff there. It was a shit hole. But i guess thats wat you get for 6 people paying 590 pounds for 7 nites. They even wanted to charge us 14 euros for towels, and then they even added on a tourism tax charge (what the?) i dont know! luckily we all had brought our own towels so that was good. The man at the desk was soooooo rude, come to think off it 95% the people we have add to deal with during this trip have been rude and none of them have any manners!! Everyone just pushes and dont even say excuse me or sorry gggrrr i hate that. Well we only have to slept in the room its not like we have to spend much time there.
The next day the boys went back up to the mountain, laura and i went to a little begginers slope but gave up within an hour then decided we would go explore and go shopping instead. Very yummy hot chocs!!!!
We met up with the boys in the afternoon and then relaxed at the pub watching the football (soccer) at the pub.
Our final day snowboarding (wed) sam and the other 2 boys dan and mont were still hungover from the nite before, so laura, duncan and i went up to the beginners slope again. This time we spent over 3 hrs there. Duncan was so nice and stayed down on the beginners run with us and coached us. Laura by the end was doing so well on her skiis but she still says she wont be doing it again. Me on the other hand was really enjoying it by the end. I could even go up on the side of the mountain on the pommel. The first time i went to try it i got literally 2 metres before i stacked, it was dragging me along so i had to let go. I was really going to give up on it all but there duncan was telling me to keep trying so i did. I could turn on my board and even go down with the board facing downwards even with some speed without stacking. I just need to keep on practising and then i reckon il be a pro (hehehehe).
As laura and i were heading back the boys were just heading up. Mind you the condition i was boarding in werent good at all this day, the snow was falling so much and it was all huge snowflakes, i was soaking by the end. but i still had fun!! The boys didnt last that long because of how heavy the snow was up on top of the mountain so they came back pretty soon. We all just then relax on our horrible disgusting mattress with our dirty pillows (if you can call them pillows) and our old blankets.
Woke up at 6 30am on thurs to catch the 7 45am bus back to geneva so we could go home. But we couldnt go without something else going wrong, the bus didnt arrive til 10 10am luckily our flights werent til 2.
The plane lefted home only 15mins behind time so we got back into london safe and sound at about 3 30 took the train home and were all very releaved that we were back in putney. Was a bumpy couple of days but i think we all did enjoy the boarding part of it atleast. But we have all decided never to get anyone (especially Mont) to organise our holidays. And never to go to places were there are rude French people!!!
Im back now and have to look for a job after all the money i spent over the last 5 days.
i hope it wasnt too long but it was a long couple of days!!
By the way we eventually got Dans luggage sent to us on the Monday nite, so he was very happy to have some clean undies!!
Once we were on i thought thank god that wait is over but i was so wrong, we then had to sit on the plane for about another 2 hrs waiting for the plane to get a place on the runway to take off. (By the way we were flying with easyjet, cheap flights but very shitty everything else.)

Finally we have our own place!!!
At last we have been given the keys to our place in Putney. There was alot of stuffing around with our guarantors but in the end, third time lucky they passed. I have put some photos of our new flat in the gallery but its empty because we havent had a chance to move in yet but it will give you a bit of an idea of where we will be spending the next 2 years of our lives.

28th Jan Monopoly Pub Crawl
We kicked off our pub crawl at a pub in Angel, named the Walkabout at around 2pm. We were running late because we had to spend the morning finalising bank accounts and our new flat in Putney.
By the time that we had caught the pack they were all hammered.
We followed on to another 5 pubs across London...Each getting harder to find as the night went on. Maybe the amount of booze drank had something to do with it!
We finished up the evening in Mayfair, at around 10pm. 8 solid hours of drinking pint after pint had taken its toll, so we decided to head back to Fulham, stopping off at the local bottle shop to buy a Bag-O-Wine, which they did't have so we got a bottle of white, and a bottle of red...You gotta love this country.

18th Jan 06
At the stratosphere they have 3 rides you can go on up the very top. They look out over the building so it was pretty scary but we did 2 of them. We did the Big shot which shoots you up into the air with a G Force of 4 - my bum lifted off my seat i was screaming!
Then we went on the Xscream which is a ride which drives you straight off the edge but stops just in time for you not to fall to your death, very scary but i had to experience it all when i was there.
18th Jan 06
After the indoor sky diving we went to check out the little white chapel, but we didn't go in. The funny thing was you could get married through a drive thru bit - very tacky.
Again we tried to get into our hotel buffet but was still packed so we gave up and we to the monte carlo which i found really shit compared to the aladdin.
After dinner we went to the stratosphere. It's 112 floors up and you can look at the whole of vegas from up there
18th Jan 06
Today we got up early to have a buffet breakky in our hotel but the line was huge so we gave up and found a cafe.
We went to the Elvis museum watched a elvis inpersonator (he was alright) then looked around in the gift shop and bought some magnets and a ring that looks like a huge diamond for $17.50.
We then scooted off to the indoor sky diving. Now that was fun, we even got it on dvd so we could see what we looked like
Trip to Vegas
January 17th 2006
Well we didnt get off to the best start we hoped for. First of all we waited to board our plane for about 30mins then as we were all in our seat ready for take off we had a problem. The captain came on over the speaker and said this is your captain speaking, we are having trouble with starting one of our engine (not something you really want to hear when your just about to take off). He then came back on over the speaker and said that the have to have the valves replaced and the maintenance crew estimate an hour. This news came to us having already waited an hour in our seats. We got fed on the ground and at about 3.30pm we took off to Sydney (only 2 hrs and 25 mins late.) oh well Im just glad we ending up leaving at all on the plane we were on, although was a little bit scared taking off but once up I was fine. Off to LA then to Vegas cant wait.
Arrived at Bellagio hotel pretty swish, its the place to be. We arrived pretty late so it was already dark, but coming over the city in the plane seeing all the lights was really cool, they looked so good it was amazing.
We tried to go to the buffet dinner at our hotel but the line to get in was about 100 metres long so we gave up and went to the buffet in the Aladdin hotel which was quiet
good - you could get really fat with every hotel having buffets. We won $67 on the slot machine - i just liked pulling the handle down that was some fun!
